Pretty good but a little quality issue

Well I took it out today. Two foot jan juc clear day with bugger all off shore wind. The water was cool and probably would have been comfortable in the 3/2. This was probably not as flexible under the arms as I thought when paddling out but to be expected with thicker rubber. And a little tightness around the back of the neck. But neither caused me concern when I was out for the 2hr session. I was comfortably warm and I didn't notice any leaking at all. In fact I'd say there was none. I'd give 5 stars but for this issue. I was taking it off when I noticed the internal taping around the knee area hadn't been glued down properly. The end of the taping was flapping at the join. No big issue now but may be problematic over time as I pull it on and off, and the taping comes off more and starts to pull on the rubber itself. Anyway I like this steamer, the way it feels and it's sedated looks. I'd recommend it to my mates.

Good fit

I'm 173cm and a not so fit 80kgs. I ordered the med double black 4/3 on 15/05, to arrive on 21/05. Put it on and it's a snug fit, as it should. Although the entry seems slightly smaller then my medium B#%%^*+¥g 3/2. On that point the O&E leg length is about 10mm shorter, which is good. The quality of the O&E seems to be on par with the popular $400 range of 4/3 steamers. I like the subdued branding. My only point of contention thus far is that it doesn't have a key loop/pocket which I find useful, hence, 1 star less. Otherwise good stuff O&E. Having said all of this, I've yet to paddle out in it. Stay tuned.
